We’re making changes to our programs so that we can better serve the geospatial community in Alberta. We’re looking at ways we can provide more resources to companies and individuals who work within the geospatial technology industry (or community).
As a non-profit our goals have always been focused on the companies that we serve, and this remains true as we adapt our programs. We will still deliver quick approvals, simple processes, and effective tools to support geomatics technology in Alberta.
For our ongoing portfolio companies, don’t worry, nothing changes! We’re here to support you while we strategize and work to implement our new programs.
While we are working with our stakeholders and board members to launch new programs in September 2022, you can sign up for updates to receive notifications about new programs here.
In the meantime, there’s a few ways you can stay engaged with TECTERRA:
- We’ve launched a podcast! Nowhere is a podcast that brings you monthly episodes of inspiring, informative, and authentic discussions with technology leaders from around the world. Host Jonathan Neufeld aims to explore the intended or unintended uses of geospatial technology and its effect on the real world.
- The TECTERRA blog features stories from various perspectives on technology start up challenges and solutions, so you might find some useful information. If you’d like to write a TECTERRA Guest Blog, reach out to Sarah.
- Follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn for geospatial news, partner and industry events, and program announcements.
What does this mean for our ongoing portfolio companies? Nothing changes. We’re here to support you while we strategize and work to implement our new programs.
