- Canada’s civil air navigation service provider, NAV CANADA, has entered into an agreement with Japan-based Terra Drone Corporation’s portfolio company, Unifly, to help drone pilots plan future missions. Here is the press release
- Search and rescue experts are hoping this new helicopter – mounted detector would be a game changer. The patented RECCO® technology is a two-part system, featuring an active detector, carried by the rescuer, and a passive reflector, carried by the user. In dire situations where every minute counts, the helicopter detector is estimated to cover a square kilometer by air in roughly six minutes.

- At the recent CanBIM’s session in Vancouver, a panel called “From the Smart Project to the Smart City: Integration and Collaboration Across Policies, Processes and Technologies.” discussed the potential of building information modelling (BIM) moving beyond buildings to larger-scale systems.
